The room had a noticeable stale smoke smell, unpleasant. I found dust on the surfaces, cleanliness needs improvement. the shower temperature was unstable. It fluctuated between cold and lukewarm. I would expect a better standard of cleanliness and a functional shower in ANY hotel.

i found some noticeable improvements from my last stay. a friendly young lady greeted me and helped with my bag (which i really appreciated!). the room was much cleaner, and the drink supplies were more generous. wifi worked very well, even on the top floor.
the hallways had a slight musty smell, but it wasn't present in my room.

The location was superb. It allowed me to walk to many attractions. The room was very clean. I also appreciated the comfortable bed after a long day of sightseeing. The electric shower was easy to use and provided great water pressure.
I noticed a slight delay in getting extra pillows.

Lovely Improvements and a Friendly Welcome

I appreciated the friendly young lady who greeted me and carried my bag upstairs. The room was noticeably cleaner, with more generous drink supplies than my previous stay. The WiFi worked very well , even on the top floor. I also peeked into an unoccupied double room next door , and it looked really nice.
The hallways were a bit dark , and there was a slight musty smell , though it was not present in my room.
